Michael Bomberg and his wife Rocío are the chef – owners of Spice of Life
Catering – San Antonio’s HOTTEST new off premise caterers and Gourmet to go
delivery service. Chef Bomberg is a graduate of both the University of Michigan
and the renowned Culinary Institute of America.
Considered today among the top chefs in Texas, Chef
Bomberg enjoys a national reputation in culinary circles, thanks to his
experience at some of San Antonio’s top dining establishments including The
Dominion Country Club, La Mansion, Polo’s at the Fairmount and the Anaqua
Grill.
Spice of Life specializes in serving creative,
restaurant quality cuisine in private homes, offices and other off site
locations. Fresh ingredients, including homegrown herbs; imaginative
preparation; eye-catching presentations and culinary creations influenced by
his extensive world travel are the hallmark of Bomberg’s award winning style.

The Chef’s special interests include volunteer work in
support of groups ranging from Wildlife Rescue, The San Antonio Food Bank and
the March of Dimes as well as professional projects for the Texas Beef Council,
Kitchen Pride Mushrooms, Tampa Maid Seafood and the Wisconsin Milk Marketing
Board to name a few.
Bomberg is an active member of the Texas Chef
Association and was recently recognized by the San Antonio Restaurant
Association as the city’s Top Chef for two years running. He and Rocío, who is
a native of México City, have a three-year-old daughter - Hannah – who they are
raising to be bilingual. |
